Vieux Port

A sketch of the same lighthouse from two days ago but from a different side. This is the old harbour. The weather was not so nice. Sometimes it can be really stormy. I like this.

Eine Skizze des gleichen Leuchtturms wie vor zwei Tagen, aber diesmal von der anderen Seite aus. Dies ist der alte Hafen. Das Wetter war nicht so gut. Manchmal kann es richtig stürmisch sein. Ich mag das.

Ancien chantier Bénéteau

As far as I know is this the place where Bénéteau began to manufacture their boats. Nowadays it is part of the harbour.

So weit ich weiss ist dies der Platz an dem Bénéteau anfing seine Boote zu bauen. Jetzt ist der Platz Teil des Hafens.

Sion sur l'Océan

At the moment and in the last few days we had about -12 degrees C. It is very cold so no wonder we dream of summertime in France. The above houses are on the way along the atlantic ocean front. Farther on the left hand side is the water.

Momentan haben wir ca. -12 Grad C. Es ist also sehr kalt. Kein Wunder, dass wir vom Sommer in Frankreich träumen. Diese Häuser liegen an einem Weg direkt am Atlantik. Weiter links wäre dann das Meer.

A small coastline sketch: Somehow I get into the "French Mood" again, when I see the typical houses and ships.

Eine kleine Skizze der Küstenlinie: Irgendwie bekomme ich wieder Heimweh nach Frankreich, wenn ich die typischen Häuser und Schiffchen sehe.

Café de la plage

Aujourd'hui et les prochains jours je voudrais vous montrer mon carnet de voyage de l'été 2015. Mon dessin montre le Café de la plage à Sion - un petit village à l'Atlantique. Il y a des petits bancs pour s'assoir partout depuis lesquels on peut croquer facilement. Partant d'ici on peut se promener à la plage direction St. Jean de Monts. C'est très sympa...

Today and in the next few days I would like to show you my French Sketchbook of year 2015. On this Sketch you see Café de la Plage directly by the sea. It is situated in a tiny village called Sion and from this part of the beach you can walk and walk for hours (depends on how fast you are...) direction St. Jean de Monts. It is very beautiful here.

Heute und in den nächsten Tagen möchte ich mein Skizzenbuch von Frankreich aus dem Jahr 2015 zeigen. Auf der kleinen Skizze sieht man das Café de la Plage direkt am Meer. Es liegt am Rande eines kleinen Städtchens mit dem Namen Sion und von diesem Teil des Strandes an kann man sehr weit in Richtung St. Jean de Monts am Meer entlang laufen. Es ist eine sehr schöne Umgebung.
