Urban Sketchers Hohenlohe at Gründischer Brunnen, Frankenhardt

 

What a fantastic weather for one of our sketchmeets in the beginning of June. 

My A3 sketch was a very fast one and I still had time to sketch some wild flowers which grew abundantly around the watersource of Gründischer Brunnen. I was quite sure that it would be a very calm place - but it wasn't. There was a coming and going, nice talks and some people entered the Kneipp-area a bit to the right of my point of view. 

 

The grey herons would only come, if there were no people, but there are lots of them in the area.

What a great fun you can have with some colours in two hours time...
 

Gründischer Brunnen, Frankenhardt

 

Sunday walk at the water source called "Gründischer Brunnen" in Speltach Valley, which is a source of clear mineral water.

It looks somehow like a large mirror of fresh water inmidst a naturally preserved area. It is about 7 metres deep and you could surround the pond on wooden planks.

Sonntagspaziergang an der Quelle, genannt: Gründischer Brunnen im Speltachtal. Es handelt sich um eine Quelle mit sehr klarem Wasser.

Von weitem sieht es aus, wie ein grosser Spiegel in der Landschaft. Die Quelle ist ca. 7 m tief und man kann sie umrunden.
