This is another sketch at the bakery. I actually do several sketches of people at their work to see which one would be a good base for a larger studio work. The artificial colours of the light at the bakery make for good contrasts and shadows. This is what a painter is searching for. The lady originally had dark clothing, but I changed it into a lighter colour in order to get a stronger contrast compared to the background.
Noch eine Skizze in der Bäckerei. Ich mache in letzter Zeit öfters Skizzen von Leuten bei ihrer Arbeit, um eine gute Basis für grössere Studio Bilder zu haben. Das künstliche Licht in der Bäckerei erzeugt schöne Kontraste und Schatten. Danach suchen Maler natürlich. Die Dame hatte ursprünglich dunkle Kleidung an, aber ich habe sie in einen helleren Farbton verändert, damit ich einen stärkeren Kontrast zum Hintergrund bekomme.
