In the evening I was on my own as the others were already gone...I could not resist doing a panoramic view into my sketchbook in direct watercolour. I sat on a bench inside the fortified town, the city wall behind me and tried to capture the whole street from left to right and had to screw the perspective a little to get more houses onto the paper. I forgot to eat and drink and needed to go back to the hotel then. A good first painting day and lots of new impressions. Now I am tired. More tomorrow.
Abends allein in Main-Franken unterwegs...als die Anderen bereits gegangen waren konnte ich nicht widerstehen und musste ein direktes Aquarell mit einem Panoramablick in mein Skizzenbuch malen. Ich saß auf einer Bank, die Stadtmauer im Rücken und habe versucht die Straße von links nach rechts zu malen. Die Perspektive habe ich etwas strapazieren müssen, denn sonst hätte ich nicht alle Häuser aufs Blatt bekommen. Unten die Doppelseite...
Ich hatte komplett vergessen zu essen und zu trinken und machte mich auf den Weg ins Hotel. Das war ein schöner erster Mal-Tag mit vielen neuen Eindrücken. Jetzt bin ich aber müde. Morgen mehr.
