New day, new luck as we say in my country. We had very beautiful weather on day two of our travel painting trip. After a very good breakfast we went to Sulzfeld again and I found a place in the shade of a tree (see the cast shadows on my painting are from that tree). I had great fun in painting the morning shadows and the very blue sky with a touch of manganese blue. I called the tower in the middle "Schlumpfturm" as it looks a bit like a face with cap and has a mouth and eyes (?) Enough for today - see you tomorrow...
Neuer Tag, neues Glück. Wir hatten ein super Wetter am Tag zwei unseres Mal-Trips. Nach einem sehr ausgiebigen Frühstück fuhren wir nochmal nach Sulzfeld - weil es so schön war - und ich fand einen Platz im Schatten eines grossen Baumes (der grosse Schatten im unteren Teil meines Bildes stammt von diesem Baum). Es war toll die morgendlichen Schatten und den sehr blauen Sommerhimmel mit ein wenig Manganblau zu malen. Den Turm in der Mitte habe ich "Schlumpfturm" genannt, denn irgendwie sieht er aus wie ein Gesicht mit Hut und irgendwie "schlumpfmässig". Das ist für heute alles - bis morgen dann...
