Ein Samstag im Winter

It was an early Saturday morning and the colours outside were saturated and there was a light shimmer of reddish colour in the distant sky. I just took my bold brush and did this DIRECT WATERCOLOUR from my upstairs window. It took me only about 15 - 20 min. to catch the view as I did it already several times. What a fun in the morning.

Chiara

It was one of our "everything is possible-thursdays" with Silvie and after work we met at her place to draw inside as it was horribly cold to have our chance with portrait sketching (we had a delicious homemade cake and a good tea!). As a reference for our drawing we took a photo of Chiara and gave it a try.

Silvie is a fearless sketcher and did a good job at her first portrait sketch. Mine was done with cretacolor No. 2 and watercolour on top.
