There is a beaver right about 500 m from my house busy working to cut trees and dam water. Our beaver works at night, so you don't get to see him, but you can admire his work during the day. The tree you see in the middle of my watercolour has got already traces of the beavers teath in the lower part of the stem. The colours are beautiful in the late afternoon by sun and if there is snow like we had it these days.
Seit einiger Zeit gibt es einen Biber ca. 500 m von meinem Heim entfernt, der unermüdlich an seinem Damm arbeitet. Er ist nachtaktiv, also sieht man ihn nie, aber man kann dann am Tag seine Arbeit bewundern. Der mittlere Baum in meinem Aquarell hat bereits Bißspuren im unteren Teil des Stammes. Die Farben sind an einem späten Nachmittag bei Sonne und etwas Schnee am schönsten.
