Had another old black and white photo as a base for this watercolour. Here as well the shadows play a big role. I darkened the green with the complementary (see my yesterdays subject). I am longing for the greens to come back outside and this was a good way to looking forward to the planting season. With this watercolour I also tried a few old methods of "cheating" or lets's say creating patters or structure in watercolour.
The first thing was a candle stick for the fence and the second one was salt for the dark foreground soil.
Ein altes schwarz-weiss Foto diente als Basis für dieses Aquarell. Ich vermisse die saftigen Grüntöne und so war das eine gute Einstimmung auf die baldige Pflanzsaison. Bei diesem Aquarell habe ich auch einige alte Techniken wieder aufleben lassen, um etwas Struktur im Zaun (Kerzenwachs) und am Boden (Salz) zu erhalten.
