A fantastic cubist café is the Grand Café Orient in Prague. I felt like at home somehow. It was my last sketching opportunity with the USk Prague friends and we had a great time there. The sympathetic Delphine was my subject for the foreground. The friendly waiter by the cash desk in the background moved a lot so I had to interrupt and continue each time he came back. The decoration and the lamps are fantastic for a sketcher. This is my personal favourite sketch so far. The feeling for the place and the surrounding friends made it a very good experience for me...like I was in the flow...
Ein tolles kubistisches Cafe ist das Grand Café Orient in Prag. Ich fühlte mich wie Zuhause. Es war meine letzte Gelegenheit mit den Prager Freunden zu malen und wir nutzten die Zeit. Die sympathische Delphine ist die Person im Vordergrund und der Kellner, weiter hinten an der Kasse. Dieser bewegte sich ständig und flitzte umher. So musste ich mehrmals ansetzen und immer weitermalen, wenn er mal wieder kurz an der Kasse stand. Die Deko und die Lampen waren zum Malen super. Das ist bisher meine Lieblingsskizze, denn das Gefühl und das Drumherum hatte gepasst...man könnte es "flow" nennen.
