It was in the evening and the sun was already gone. I tried to get the view of Onda done, before it is completely dark, but I did not manage it and let the basic drawing the way it was by then ...
In the meantime the Bolo do Caco (we ordered as a starter) came...special bread of Madeira with garlic. Very delicious.
Es war bereits Abend und die Sonne war schon weg. Ich versuchte die Onda noch aufs Papier zu bringen, bevor es endgültig dunkel war, aber es ging zu schnell und ich sah einfach nichts mehr. Ich gab auf und so ist das Bild halt unfertig geblieben.
Dann kam aber das Bolo do Caco (als Vorspeise), eine Spezialität aus Madeira: Rundes Fladenbrot mit Butter und Knoblauch. Sehr lecker.
