The warm French summer sun is my subject of this watercolour I did in watercolour class.
First the drawing with a rough pencil and I merely could await to jump into the colour. Here I worked quite wet on dry paper. Used a lot of ultramarine in the shadows and let the colour do its work. For the sky I wetted the paper a bit before using the colour.
Mein Thema heute war die warme Sommersonne Frankreichs.
Im Aquarellkurs habe ich zuerst eine Zeichnung mit einem groben Stift gemacht und konnte es kaum erwarten mich in die Farbe zu stürzen. Für die Schatten habe ich sehr viel Ultramarin verwendet und die Farbe sehr naß auf das trockene Papier aufgetragen. Die Fläche für den Himmel habe ich vorher etwas naß gemacht und danach erst die Farbe aufgebracht.
