I am pretty sure you already wondered why I posted a little bit less during the last few days. This is due to another sketching project I am part of and for which I reserved and needed some of my time everyday... and I love it...
A group of French and Italian artists let me participate in their "lockdown sketchers group" which is a fantastic adventure. You get into the group by invitation only, so I am very honoured to be part of the whole thing and thank Maria-Francesca that she introduced me to Ghislaine to get invited.
The subjects are communicated daily and in the beginning I was really overwhelmed by the sheer amount of messages and artworks. There is such a friendly and motivating atmosphere in the group and we have great art talks.
The group by then already consisted of 56+ artists and they all have strong motivation and the art level is high.
The founder/organizer of the group is Ghislaine Feroux from Poitiers
I confess I really had a hard time to follow up as I was very busy anyway at the time, but I managed to get some drawings done. Squeezing it in between other preoccupation and preparation for Christmas. Please keep in mind that these are all fast sketches and not refined paintings due to the time limit and the short notice (which btw. did not pressure me as much as the 30x30 watercolour challenge did, because we could post as well later if we could not do it on the real date...that made it really convenient to everybody I think.)
The confinement in France was originally planned till 15 of december (as far as I know) so when I joined the group, we still had some painting time ahead of us.
The quality of the works of all the French and Italian artists is unbelievably good and I admire and enjoy their continuous beautiful and sometimes humorous drawings...

Et oui, le confinement est prolongé! Nous allons donc dessiner jusqu’au 15 décembre. Mais maintenant vous avez pris le rythme et la motivation est forte.
So here are my sketches:
1. Aperitif: This is actually just a beer, but it's local and for me it fits somehow.
2. Tissu: One of my summer tablecloth
3. Jolie Vaiselle: Here I made a funny mistake, "bei piatti" into the translator and it said "nice food"...you see my Italian is very rusty... if I had seen it first in French I would have known what to sketch...;)
4. Envie de Montagne: Memory of Madeira This is how everything began...I will come back to "Dessins Confinés" soon again...--- Für die Lockdown-Skizzen, meine Bitte an die deutschen Leser, bei Interesse das Übersetzungstool zu verwenden, denn so kurz vor Weihnachten ist die Zeit sehr knapp. Danke für Euer Verständnis.
