About one and a half weeks ago we had "long night of the towers" in Crailsheim. This was the first time they opened all towers and illuminated the city. I would have loved to get into the tower of Johanneskirche, but it was quite too crowded and the number of people was limited to enter the tower. So I watched the different light effects in this beautiful gothic church and later did a direct watercolour of the crazy colours of the lighted altar room.
Ca. vor eineinhalb Wochen war die "Lange Nacht der Türme" in Crailsheim. Dieses Event hat zum ersten Mal stattgefunden und die Türme waren alle geöffnet. Die Stadt war sehr schön beleuchtet. Gerne wäre ich auf den Turm der Johanneskirche hoch gegangen, aber es waren zuviele Menschen da und die Anzahl der Besucher war begrenzt. Stattdessen habe ich mir die Licht-Effekte in der gothischen Kirche genauer angesehen und später ein direktes Aquarell vom Altarraum gemalt.
