Camara dos Lobos is a typical fishing village with boats, cafés and a long promenade that leads along the coast direction Funchal. Winston Churchill did some of his paintings here, but I had only time for a 5 min. sketch with pencil as we had to hurry. This is really sad as I spent more time for my bica than for my drawing... that is about priorities... maybe I finish this one some time later?

Camara dos Lobos ist ein sehr schöner, typischer Fischerort, in dem die Boote wie Dekorationsobjekte am Strand liegen, Der Bacalhau ist auf Hölzern zum Trocknen aufgespannt und die Cafés haben alle einen bezaubernden Blick und sind brechend voll. Die Promenade führt entlang der Küste Richtung Funchal. Hier hat Winston Churchill einige Bilder gemalt und auch ich konnte mich für einige Minuten mit dem Bleistift austoben, aber die Zeit war einfach zu knapp und ich musste Prioritäten setzen... ich hab mir auf jeden etwas Fall mehr Zeit für meinen kleinen Kaffee gegönnt. Vielleicht mach ich das Bild ja irgendwann mal fertig und poste es nochmal?
