Sketchbook Sicily - Cala Mazzo di Sciacca

 

Today again a visit to Cala Mazzo di Sciacca, which is a beautiful beach close to Scopello. I already drew there several times HERE , HERE and HERE last year. While I did the sketch of this young boy trying to get into the water with his snorkelling gear a family from Scopello which was also at this very beach looked what I did and they spoke with me for a while. The young daughter wanted a photo of me and the sketch. So funny, I could have given autographs ;) 

The weather was warm and the sea as well so in between I went for a swim. 

Diese Bucht ist eine der Schönsten hier und nennt sich Cala Mazzo di Sciacca. Der Strand befindet sich in der Nähe von Scopello. Hier habe ich bereits mehrmals gemalt. Meine letztjährigen Bilder findet ihr HIER , HIER und HIER. Während ich die obere Skizze von dem Jungen malte, der mit seiner Schnorchelausrüstung ins Wasser ging, hatte ich ein nettes Gespräch mit einer einheimischen Familie aus Scopello. Besonders die junge Tochter war begeistert von meiner Skizze und wollte ein Foto mit mir und dem Bild. ...witzig, ich hätte Autogramme geben können...;)
