The deep red gates of St. Georg cathedral in Dinkelsbühl are very beautiful. This is more a relaxed sketch without measuring, and thinking...it turned out a bit crooked in the end. This sketch was done the week-end before sketchtour as I was still checking out the surroundings. I used a dark blue derwent pencil, which was not watersoluble (indigo) for the drawing and as a contrast I watercoloured in warm colours such as red, orange and yellow.

Die roten Tore vom Münster St. Georg in Dinkelsbühl fallen sofort auf. Jetzt ist mal wieder eine entspannte Skizze, ohne Maßnehmen und viel zu denken angesagt...und genau deswegen ist sie auch mal wieder etwas krumm geraten..
Diese Skizze habe ich am Wochenende vor der Sketchtour anlässlich meiner Suche nach guten Plätzen gemacht. Für die Vorzeichnung habe ich einen dunkelblauen Derwent Stift verwendet, der wasserfest ist. Farbe Indigo. Als Kontrast dazu habe ich warme Farbtöne in Aquarellfarben in gelb, rot und orange aufgetragen.
Als ich dann während der Sketchtour mit meinen Freunden unterwegs war, malten wir hier im Zentrum sogar mehrmals, jedoch immer ganz unterschiedliche Motive. Also schaut euch meine Berichte der nächsten Tage an...
