After a morning walk through Funchal, we were waiting at the harbour for our cruise on a sailboat that day. Being a bit early, we had a coffee at Malta do Calhau. Very good coffee btw and the view was great as the MSC Opéra was about to anchor at Funchal harbour and we could see the manoeuvre. Still some time to sketch the view. I used some watercolour pencils for sketching and then used a few watercolours to finish it.
On our own cruise we saw lots of dolphins and had a great time. After the sailing cruise I sketched the sailing boat Ventura (see below).
Nach einem Morgenspaziergang durch Funchal, warteten wir am Hafen auf den Start unseres Segeltörns. Wir waren zeitig dran und tranken noch einen Kaffee am Malta do Calhau. Es gibt dort übrigens sehr guten Kaffee und der Blick war super, denn wir konnten die Einfahrt und das Ankern der MSC Opéra im Hafen beobachten. Die Zeit nutzte ich zum Malen. Zum Vorzeichnen verwendete ich Aquarellstifte und etwas Aquarellfarbe obendrauf.
Auf unserem Segeltörn sahen wir viele Delphine. Mal wieder ein tolles Erlebnis. Nach der Schifffahrt skizzierte ich noch das Segelboot, die Ventura (siehe unten).
