These are the Echinacea which grow in my garden. I had a photo of them at watercolour class and painted them in negative painting technique, background first and then the petals and details (no masking fluid used). As a colour for the background I used mainly yellow and olive green.
Diese Echinacea sind Blüten aus meinem Garten. Ich hatte das Foto im Aquarell-Kurs dabei und malte sie in Negativ-Technik, also zuerst den Hintergrund und erst ganz am Ende die Blüten im Detail (keine Abdeckflüssigkeit verwendet). Als Hintergrundfarbe verwendete ich hauptsächlich gelb und olivgrün.
