One of my biketours lead through Burgberg-Forest. There is a crossroad with a huge limewood tree (tree to the right on my watercolour). It is a remarkably big tree and the Jakobsweg (pilgrimage trail) comes by here. Sometimes you could see people hike with their rucksacks on their backs and the pilgrimage shell. If there is full sun, the trees cast big shadows which makes for beautiful contrasts to paint. This is a direct watercolour.
Eine meiner Fahrradstrecken geht durch den Burgbergwald vorbei an der Kaiserlinde (hier rechts im Bild). Es ist ein sehr markanter Baum und übrigens führt der Jakobsweg hier vorbei. Manchmal sieht man Leute mit Rucksäcken und Jakobsmuschel hier vorbeiwandern. Bei voller Sonne werfen die Bäume grosse kontrastreiche Schatten. Mein Bild ist wieder ein direktes Aquarell, ohne Vorzeichnen, alles nur mit dem Pinsel gemalt.
