Calabrese Sketchbook - Tropea Beach View

On day 2 in Tropea going to the beach was on the top list, but first I had to draw the view from the breakfast terrace along with a "Cappucino Americano". Good that right before we left home I packed additionally a half pan of my turquoise (for the sea) and naples yellow (for the sand) to my usual outdoor equipment. The colours of today's calm sea where light and soft. Meanwhile Chef Roberto brought some pancakes as a surprise. What a nice treat.

Am Tag 2 in Tropea stand der Strand an der Tagesordnung ganz oben, aber zuerst musste ich noch den Blick von der Frühstücksterrasse aus skizzieren. Meinen Cappucino schlürfte ich nebenher. Kurz vor der Abreise packte ich noch geistesgegenwärtig die Farbe Türkis (für das Meer) und Naples Yellow (für den Sand) zu meiner normalen Palette dazu. Die Farben hatte ich dann auch gleich heute im Einsatz. In der Zwischenzeit brachte Chef Roberto, der natürlich auch wissen wollte, was ich da mache, Pfannkuchen als Überraschung. Sehr nett.
