Clouds and sun change the view every minute which makes it difficult to draw shadow and light. Luckily the sun comes out again and I can finish my drawing. There are lots of beautiful houses here on the Island of Madeira and the subtropical plants make a totally different picture to what I am used to at home. The trees are very different and in some areas they have Eucalyptus trees. Let's see if I will have the time to draw such a tree within the short time I have here...

Sonne und Wolken verändern die Ansicht minütlich, was die Schatten- und Farbgebung nicht so einfach macht. Glücklicherweise kommt die Sonne wieder raus und ich kann meine Zeichnung beenden. Es gibt hier sehr viele schöne Häuser auf Madeira und die subtropischen Pflanzen sehen anders aus als der Bewuchs, den ich von Zuhause her kenne. Die Bäume sind anders und in manchen Gegenden wachsen Eukalyptusbäume. Mal sehen, ob ich es in der kurzen Zeit noch schaffe einen solchen Baum zu zeichnen...
