A bit of snow

 

A bit of snow changed my coundtryside woods (Burgberg forest) into a fairytale landscape in January. The view I painted, is the view from the edge of the forest into a place that leads to a beautiful small clearing, we call "cathedral of light", as if the sun is shining into it, it feels and looks very magical.

Ein wenig Schnee hatte meinen heimischen Wald, den Burgbergwald im Januar in eine Märchenlandschaft verwandelt. Der Blick, den ich gemalt habe zeigt vom Waldrand in einen Weg hinein, auf dem man zu einer kleinen Lichtung kommt, die wir die "Kathedrale des Lichts" nennen, denn wenn die Sonne dort reinscheint sieht es magisch aus.
