We changed location and went up to Langenburg, visiting the terrace and surroundings of the castle.
Langenburg Castle, which is situated in Hohenlohe dates back to 1226. Part of the castle is open to visitors as well as the adjacent car museum. But our plans were different, as we wanted to continue drawing. At least one more sketch.
The misty rain made us search for shelter.
Cafe Bauer had already closed, but the chairs and tables in front were a very welcome place for our artistic aims. What a great location.
Then, just as we were about to leave, Mr. Bauer, the proprietor brought a nice present for the hungry artists: A package of some very tasty "Wibele" for each of us. Thank you to the artist friendly Café Bauer and to my fellow sketchers Jutta and Katharina.
Despite the weather we had a great painting afternoon.

Wir fuhren hoch nach Langenburg und schauten uns nach Motiven um, die es hier ja zur Genüge gibt. Leider fing der Regen wieder an und wir suchten Schutz. Danke an Herrn Bauer für die Wibele und die Zuflucht unterm Dach.
Es war wieder ein schöner Maltag mit Jutta und Katharina.
