At the time, mid April, as I sketched these pansies in my garden grass, it was still cloudy and cold, but a little bit of sun came through and soon they opened as if they knew they would then be sketched.
Zu der Zeit, Mitte April, als ich die Gänseblümchen malen wollte, lugten sie aus dem Gras hervor und öffneten sich, denn etwas Sonne kam durch die Wolken.
