Stopped in Schweinfurt on a drive and had a look at the city. This statue was very interesting for me and I drew it with a usual blue pencil.
Went over it with three tones of watercolours which were a yellow, a violet and a dark green. The pencil must have been somewhat oily, as the watercolour was repelled in some places. Interesting experience.
Auf meiner Durchfahrt durch Schweinfurt, machte ich dort Zwischenstation. Die Statue fand ich sehr interessant und malte sie mit einem gewöhnlichen blauen Buntstift. Darauf Aquarell in drei Farbtönen: Gelb, violett und dunkles Grün. Der Buntstift muss irgendwie ölig gewesen sein, denn die Aquarellfarbe wurde an manchen Stellen nicht angenommen. Interessante Erfahrung.
