Peony & Fuchsia

In my watercolour class we had Peonies as our next virtual subject. I recycled an old watercolour paper to do a swatch of one flower and my personal goal was to paint it with the colours of a DS dot card with a few very fancy colours called colours of inspiration.

I had so much fun with it, that I did a Fuchsia onto the same sheet of paper with colours out of the dot card as well. 

For the upper blossom the colour Opera Pink was the most important colour and for the blossom below the Quin Coral colour came very handy.

Below you can see my full sheet with both watercolours plus indication of the colours I used (indicated above every sketch).

Wir hatten Pfingstrosen als Thema in meinem virtuellen Aquarellkurs und ich verwendete Aquarellpapier (die Rückseite eines alten Bildes), um eine Pfingstrosen-Blüte zu malen. Dazu nahm ich die DS Dot Karte mit den "colours of inspiration", denn ich dachte die Farben sind passend für mein Thema.

Ich hatte so viel Spaß, dass ich gleich noch eine Fuchsie daneben malte. 

Die Farben Opera Pink und Quin Coral waren super für die Blüten geeignet.
