Finally I am here in Amsterdam und very happy do be able to attend a few workshops at the Urban Sketchers Symposium 2019. This night will be the opening ceremony, but before I will still have some time to sketch and meet friends. My trip was very nice and as I walked out of Amsterdam Central Station (after 7 hours of travels - which btw is not very much compared to the friends who came from abroad). I first saw all those big buildings and the beautiful red central station. I walked over the bridge direction Prins Hendrikkate to find my Hotel which was not too far away. As I walked I could see bigger ships, bridges, the docks with cranes and the NEMO science museum. I thought by myself: Beautiful spots to draw. The hotel was kind of fancy and nice and my friends already awaited me. Warm welcome and I dropped my luggage and we headed towards the centre with tiny old houses and small streets and canals to do our first sketches...WELCOME IN AMSTERDAM

Jetzt bin ich endlich in Amsterdam und schon sehr gespannt auf die Workshops des Urban Sketcher Symposiums 2019. Heute Abend ist die Eröffnungsveranstaltung, aber voher ist noch Zeit zum skizzieren und Freunde treffen. WELKOM IN AMSTERDAM
