USk Symposium Amsterdam 2019 - The Colours of Amsterdam

The colours of Amsterdam in my opinion are very dark compared to the more southern countries.

I would say a lot of grey, brown, brick red and black in the houses...lots of green plants in the streets and greyish and dark dulled brick-red colours on the ground.

Translated into watercolours I would see the following colours:

- brick red /
  rosé /potters pink
- burnt umber
- ultramarine
- indigo
- cerulean
- naples yellow
  or a light grey
- dark grey
  or neutral tint
- different greens
  for the plants

This is a completely different colour range compared to at home...
