Calabrese Sketchbook - Tropea Sunny Beach

Day 3. Hot and sunny today, the swim and the beach are a treat with clean white sand and the waves rolling in. The mediterranean sea still has 22°C. The flying vendors are already greeting friendly as this is a small world and everybody seems to know anyone. The church in front uphill and the hilly town of Tropea to the right make for a scenic view from the place I sit at and I am happy with my still partly finished sketch. I let it like this, but now I need something to eat...

Tag 3. Ein heisser, sonniger Tag am weissen Sandstrand von Tropea. Das leise Geräusch der Wellen im Hintergrund und das Wasser hat noch immer 22°C. Die fliegenden Verkäufer grüssen bereits freundlich, denn jeder scheint hier jeden zu kennen - es ist eine kleine Welt für sich. Die Kirche auf dem Hügel vor mir und die hügelige Stadt Tropea bereiten mir einen schönen Ausblick und ich lasse meine Skizze unfertig, denn ich brauch mal zwischendrin wieder was zu essen...
